I learned playing chess in the late 1980's , when I was around 10 years old. I continued playing chess actively till around 1998. After that I did have other interests which took up a lot of my time so I stopped playing chess.

Since March 2012 however I started to play some chess online again. And I am currently trying to improve my playing strength. In the future I am thinking of playing some over the board tournaments.

• Avoid blunders.
• Improve opening repertoire.
• Improve end game knowlegde.
• Improve middlegame planning.

With white I rely on the English, The Catalan and the Reti opening.

Against 1. e4 I play the Caro-Kann or the Modern. Against 1. d4 I play the Slav or the Modern.
