On the 27th of April I went from Enschede to Veendam, where my parents
live, by bike. I wanted to do that since I live in
Enschede, but it was never the right moment or time.
But last week it was, so
I started at 9:11 in Enschede and arrived at 17:02 in Veendam.
I started with a 30km in 2 hours schedule in mind. Cycling for 1.5 hour and than
a half hour rest. Not a very fast schedule, but the intention was to get
there, not to set a very fast speed record. I stayed on this 30km in 2 hour
schedule, but I made 3 more stops than planned. All my stops where shorter
than the planned 30 minutes.
The statistics
Total distance: 127.78km
Average cycling speed: 20.86 km/h
Maximum cycling speed: 42.40 km/h
Total cycling time: 6h 07m
Total time: 7h 51m
